Event Details

A two-day workshop in the most popular form of storytelling today--creative non-fiction.  Including memoirs, biographies, personal essays, feature stories, and blogging.  Writers in this field dramatize real life events into entertaining narratives that read more like a novel.  

This is a workshop for beginning to intermediate writers concentrating on format, scene structure, creating drama, writing dialogue, and mastering the art of creative true story-telling.

Kisha “KaCee” Green is a journalist and screenwriter.  Her work has appeared in Atlanta Tribune: The Magazine, The Tennessean, Atlanta Journal Constitution, Crossroads News, Patch.com, ehow, Associated Content, Brighthub.com, and divinecaroline.com.  She is also the author of the ‘zine, Hot Chocolate, the blog thekaceechronicles.blogspot.com and editor of two children’s books Howard Be Thy Name and The Magic Lunchbox.  Green also penned the screenplay adaptation of the novel Secret Lives of the Wives (SLOW) by former NFL player Corey Harris.


Kacee is the creator/executive producer of drama series pilot, Boulevard West which was produced by her company Greenway Entertainment Group in 2010.   The series was directed and co-executive produced by actor/comedian Tommy Ford.  She is currently working on a new screenplay and teaching creative writing.
